our old days some analyst stated that the role of Human resource is policing
arm of executive management.(Heathfield 2019)
At
present functions of Human Recourse Manager is as basically dived as follows:
- Overseeing Department Functions
- Managing Employees
According to basics ,human recourse manager’s primary
responsibilities are Recruitment, work place safety, employee relationship,
compensations planning labor low compliance and training in order to fulfill
this role HR managers must have four primary competencies: communication,
Analytical and critical thinking, relationship building, Leadership.(mayhew
2019)
WHO IS AN
EMPLOYEE ADVOCATOR?
“Employee
Advocacy “is s new trend in HR role. As an employee advocator the HR Managers
plays an integral role in organizational success via his knowledge about and
advocacy of people. This role in managing organizational change by using his
knowledge about people this advocacy includes expertise in how to create a work
environment in which people will choose to be motivated, contributing, and
happy. Some important aspects of employee advocacy including consistency in the
treatment of employees, handling daily employee issues, effective employee
communication, Counseling, maintain employee relationship, complaint solving
processes, and best employment practices as a motivational part. Employee
Advocacy also covers employee conduct and work place behavior and etiquette. (Hordes,
2019)

These are the functions of employee advocator
- Implement Training and Development –this will help to new workers to ease into their role and this will build the strongest and most capable workforce for the benefit of the entire organization.
- Answer Questions and Provide Information -Advocator assistance the workers to solve their problems in a confidential manner,
- Advise Managers on Employee Rights -An employee advocate advises management on the rights of workers for example minimum wage, protection against certain types of discrimination and harassment, as well as protections of workers medical and genetic information..
- Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity – in this situation employers do not discriminate against employees and job applicant based upon certain characteristics such as age, race color, sex, religion and disability.
- Step Up and Mediate Disputes - When a dispute between an employee and higher up stays unresolved, HR steps into the role of mediator to try to fix the issue as fairly as possible for both sides. Ex: Talk with other person, focus on behavior and events, not on personalities, listen carefully, and prioritize the areas of conflict.
- The Effect of HR Roles and Responsibilities in an Organization – In this role, employee advocator provides overall talent management strategies, employee development opportunities, employee assistance programs, gain sharing and profit sharing strategies, organization development interventions, due process approaches employee complaints and problem solving and regular scheduled.

CONCLUSION:
Human Resource managers are the voice of employees
as employee advocators in company and they make a link in between employer and
employee therefore they are an ADVOCATOR FOR THE EMPLOYEE
